About Me

I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Ryan Benedetto.  I currently live in Wake County and am seeking employment in the Triangle area.  I thoroughly enjoy video games and game development,  going back to a young age when I took summer camps in arts, video game programming, robotics, and anything technical or video game related.  I would be very excited to have the chance to be a productive member of a team while furthering my skills and knowledge in animation, game design, or anything else video game related.

I graduated from Living Arts College in December 2015 as Valedictorian with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Game Design. During my attendance at Living Arts I worked as an intern on the development of a video game from January to March 2015 where I had to deal with sudden changes to workloads, shifting deadlines, and technical issues. I have worked on multiple animations both as part of a group and individually. I also have experience creating my own games and thoroughly bug testing them both individually and with others. I was most recently employed at Plasma Games for two and a half years as the sole animator for a turn-based strategy game. I was responsible for setting up control rigs and paint weights as well as creating all character animations and exporting them for use in the Unity game engine. Additionally, I did a lot of quality assurance including bug testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

I am hard working and have an innate desire to always produce the best work that I possibly can on whatever project I am working on.  I strive to always improve and am very open to critiques and criticisms.  I am open to position opportunities in animation, game design, or anything else you might have that my skills can be utilized for.
